If you play lead guitar and haven't used stubbies yet I urge you to give them a try. I hit a wall with playing scales at speed and my guitar teacher suggested trying a stubby pick, I did and within a few hours I was playing faster than I had done for months before. Can't promise it will work for you but it did for me!
